Description:How do I know this? My father is one of them. Dad was diagnosed with MS in , when he was a fit and active school teacher, soccer coach, husband and father. The onset of his MS was characterised by constant pins and needles in his hands and feet, numbness, and out-of-the-ordinary tiredness. I was eleven, and one of my strongest memories from this time is seeing Dad sitting behind a piano at church shortly after he was diagnosed, crying as he explained to his friends why he had been unwell. So I had to find out about it - I read about how it affected different people, found out about all the different sorts of MS.
